Milad Mehdizadeh has background both in engineering and social science. He holds two PhD degrees in Civil Engineering (transport studies) and Environmental Psychology (transport psychology). He obtained his recent doctoral degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He is currently a research fellow at ITS, University of Leeds. He has been a research fellow/lecturer at NTNU and scholar/adviser for the Mineta Transportation Institute at San Jose State University, California. Throughout his career, Milad has explored topics in travel behavior, transport psychology, and the intersection of transportation with health, environment, energy, and safety. He has been involved in several international projects and he has also recently worked on dynamic theories in travel behavior research.
