Harry Roberts

Harry is a postgraduate researcher at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds, supervised by Dr Chiara Calastri and Professor Richard Batley. He studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and worked as a chartered accountant before coming to Leeds to study for an MSc in Transport Economics. His PhD research is jointly funded by Network Rail and the Economic and Social Research Council, with additional support from the UK Department for Transport, and aims to improve our understanding of how demand for passenger rail might change with the introduction of new travel modes and technologies.
